Bon Voyage!

Spring is rolling in with a Bang! - literally - into Illinois, this whole week we've seen nothing but rain and thunderstorms. It's kinda annoying but not as annoying as the million wind-chimes hanging all around my neighbor's house. The electricity went out several times today, on and off it went, so I wasn't able to hang around the internet blogging. (Our wireless receiver works on electricity)

I'm very happy about a one pound loss I witnessed on the scale today, namely on Mady. DON"T LAUGH! I've been reading on other blogs that people develop these elaborate hate/love relationships with their scales, even name them, and put stickers resembling faces. Ok, that's a little over the top, yes. I wouldn't go that far but I thought naming my scale would be cute. So my girlfriend and I were laughing over this concept and the name Mady just stuck. Today Mady got gold stars! Eating less and smart has been getting much easier than before, at least until dinnertime. High fiber foods definitely help!

My brother was here visiting us from Mongolia for a while and today he's going back home. Another reason I was busy today, helping him get ready. We've gotta drive him to the airport tonight. So have a good evening everyone, I shall try my best to enlighten tomorrow :)
