10,000 BC

We usually don't watch movies on weeknights but as we got our paws on 10,000 BC, we just had to see what it was all about.

Man, this movie really rocked! If you like action, kinda sorta history, adventure, and ROMANCE, then you'll love it! The animation was very realistic and executed excellently, the actors were good and the plot was non-stop - none of that yawning, dragging stuff.

If you have some extra time after the kids go to sleep, be sure to check it out! Actually, the movie sparked an interesting conversation about dates and the chronicling of years by different civilizations, but that's a post for another time.
